Dr. Hai Nguyen is an esteemed researcher, instructor, and leader in STEM education with 19 years of experience. He is the Founder and CEO of SEARINET Corporation and is dedicated to bridging the gap in STEAM education, making the latest STEAM knowledge accessible for the most underrepresented and underserved students around the world. He holds a Bachelor of Biotechnology, a Master of Plant Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education from the University of Missouri. Dr. Hai Nguyen is a recipient of the VEF fellowship and multiple grants from the US government for his efforts to advance STEM education. He is a published author and regular presenter at international conferences and has hundreds of citations as an educational researcher. He is passionate about using diverse, innovative, and inclusive teaching methods to support students' interest in socio-scientific issues, arts integration, and retention in STEM fields. His book: "STEM/STEAM education: from hands-on to minds-on." In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and photography. He is currently a member of both NSTA and NARST.
